The Dayton radio family lost a legend yesterday. Bob Sweeney started working with Mix 107.7 in the 1990's and was on the Bob, Kristi & Darrel Show in the mornings, which turned into the Bob, Kristi & Chris show.
Bob was a Boston native and got his start in radio from his time in the Armed Forces radio, eventually ending up in Dayton. He previously worked at WHIO Channel 7 and WVUD before joining our family.
Bob is remembered by his razor sharp wit and one liners. He introduced us to "Friday Eve" and was the creator of the Mix Morning Show Wake Up Song.
