This fundraising Valentine’s Dinner is to raise money for the team for expenses such as: rent & utilities, travel, equipment and uniforms. Because our team is not associated with a school district, we don’t get any school funding. The team is open to any student in the Dayton region who wishes to join. This year we are a bit short on funds. But without school funding, we have to come up with ideas to raise funds. Otherwise we’ll have to leave some students behind when the team travels to various state competitions. NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND is our mantra this year!
