CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Centerville Police speed to an accident, just moments after wrapping up an interview with 2 NEWS about the parts of town with the most traffic accidents.

"As I was leaving the interview with you, we had one crash on Far Hills at Fireside Drive which is in one of our target-enforcement areas," said Centerville Police Officer John Davis, " Prior to the interview we also had a crash on Wilmington Pike, in one of the same target-areas."

Police are stepping up patrols in those problem areas in order to keep you and your family safe.

"We're looking for the distracted drivers, the following too closely, obviously speed," explains Officer Davis.

Darla Kibler is thankful for that.  She has three young kids.  Her family lives on Main Street across from Savona, one of those targeted areas.
